MAIN COURSE: Ep. 6 // WGC-Mexico Inspired Pork Tacos (Tailgate)
WGC Mexico Inspired Pork Tacos
No Description
WGC’s mean the best players in the world show up to play some of the best courses in the world. It also means that I won’t get a ticket or be anywhere close to the event.
That also means we have another tailgate opportunity. Since the first WGC of the year is in Mexico, I thought there is no better way to get into the spirit of the event then Tacos! Sure, I could have gone down the road to think outside the bun, but this Main Course! We do it big and we do it ourselves! I went with my favorite Pork Taco recipe that is super easy because everything just gets dumped into a crock pot!

What you need:
2 lbs Pork tender loin
16 oz. Jar of Salsa Verde (its better if you go with spicy but if you’re soft, you can go mild)
10 Dashes of hot sauce
1 White onion chopped
¼ Cup dried apricots- chopped
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground white pepper
1 Lime (Juiced)
1 Chopped Red Bell Pepper
Mix everything together in the crock pot and set it on low for 5 hours. Come back when it’s done! Check out this week’s Main Course Tailgate to see how I put this together so you can have your own home-made pork tacos!
