This isn’t a crazy change but it’s a change. The rule was last changed in 2014, bumping up from the former cut line of the top 44 players and ties to the top 50 (and ties and those within 10 shots of the lead), which was the case from 1961-2013. Prior to that, the cut rule was the top 40 and ties. What does this mean? More players on Saturday and Sunday. More drama and more excitement. Let the games begin!

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
