Maverick McNealy may not be a major name on the PGA TOUR yet but he’s on his way to accomplishing great things. His eventual goal will be to win and make a lot of money on the pro circuit but he’s already used to living in style.

For those who don’t know McNealy, he’s a former top amateur golfer who played his college game in Stanford. He went pro officially last year and has been playing on the Web.com Tour ever since.

He currently sits 46th on the money list and is looking to move into the top 25 to earn his PGA TOUR card. But money is certainly something McNealy isn’t worried about.

McNealy’s father, Scott, is the former CEO of Sun Microsystems, which has made him a billionaire. With that money the McNealy family has lived in an absurd mansion outside of Palo Alto that they recently put on the market. The listing price for the mansion is a ridiculous $96.8 million. With all the amenities that are included, it might be worth it though.

According to the real estate reports, the mansion includes some amenities that even I haven’t heard of. The house is four-levels and includes a climbing wall, a disco, ice rink, pool, tennis court, wine cellar, sauna, spa, poker room, home theater, basketball court and, of course, a panic room with a Kevlar door. The place also includes a room designated for making pizza and a 4,700 square foot gym. That’s more square footage than my house!

While Maverick is living his own life and doesn’t live there full-time anymore, this is definitely something I’m sure he’ll miss, especially the 109-yard practice hole that was built into the 28-acre property. But if he lives up to his full potential, who’s to say he won’t be able to afford the $489,857 monthly payments and the $19,360,000 down payment it would take to buy it back?

I can say with a lot of certainty that this mansion is probably my dream home but it may be just a bit out of my price range. So if a few of you want to throw in to split living expenses, let me know and I’ll contact the realtor.
