Max Homa Roasts Guy Who Called Him ‘Unserious’ and Criticized His Pace of Play

Max Homa is not taking any crap.

This past weekend at the BMW Championship, Homa needed a rules official for clarification on an issue during his first round. However, a fan took a video of Homa’s playing partner, Si Woo Kim, checking his phone during the round, and used it as an opportunity to criticize his demeanor and his pace of play:

“si woo legit on his phone while he waits for the most unserious player on tour to hit his shot. going on 15 minutes…”

Homa didn’t hold back with his response, stating he was waiting for a rules official to come to the hole for nearly 15 minutes:

“I was waiting on a rules official for 15 mins have a great day Matt keep up the awesome videos!”

Homa is probably one of the last people anyone should pick a battle of wits with. Seems Matt Gannon found this out the hard way.

Interestingly, Homa even said he took a brief break from social media recently because he thought it might help with his focus. He will not be playing at the TOUR Championship this week, but still has a shot at the President’s Cup team.
