NEWS: Tiger Feels “Little Bit Stiff” After Back Surgery, Also Looks A Bit Zooted

The Genesis Invitational is hosted by Tiger Woods, so the man himself made an appearance not only at Riviera, but on the television coverage. Jim Nance, like the professional he is, started the interview asking about Tiger’s foundation and all the work they put into the Genesis. But then he went on to ask about Tiger’s surgery, recovery, and expected timeline. And in my opinion, the outlook doesn’t sound great. 

Tiger sounded like a man who has no clue when he’ll be back on the golf course. And that sucks. Golf is a much better place with Tiger, especially at Augusta National. When asked if he’ll play at the Masters, TW responded “God, I hope so”. What didn’t help the situation was Tiger’s appearance. My man looked like he was high on several different pain killers, but who can blame him. I would be too, especially if I’m coming off my 5th (!!) back operation. But, of course, social media couldn’t help itself…

It’s a waiting game with Tiger, and here’s hoping that his back fully recovers and he returns to the course ASAP.
