Norman: Big Celebration Behind 18th Green Planned if LIV Golfer Wins The Masters
While Greg Norman was famously unable to capture a green jacket in Augusta, the LIV Golf CEO has spent time envisioning what it will be like if one of his 18 golfers win the Masters this weekend.
Norman told News Corp. over the weekend:
“If one of the guys, no matter who it is, they are all going to be there on the 18th green, they are all going to be there, and that just gives me goosebumps to think about. When you walk up 18, your caddie hugs you then you see your wife or your mum and dad. Now, to have those 17 other guys there, that’s the spirit we want.”

Among the 18 eligible to play in the Masters are:
· Cameron Smith; finished third last year and 2022 Open Championship winner
· Dustin Johnson; 2020 Masters champion
· Phil Mickelson; 3-time Masters winner
· Bubba Watson; 2-time Masters winner
· Sergio Garcia; 2017 Masters winner
· Patrick Reed; 2018 Masters winner
· Brooks Koepka; four-time major winner and LIV Golf Orlando winner Sunday
But if one of those 18 men win and they all celebrate, it will be without Norman himself, who said that he wasn’t invited to attend the tournament.
🚨JUST IN: Greg Norman says he was not invited to Augusta — “Funnily enough, I haven’t been invited. As a major winner I always was before, but they only sent me a grounds pass last year and nothing, zilch, this time around. I’m disappointed because it’s so petty but of course…

The 1980s and ‘90s were littered with heartbreak at Augusta for Norman. The two-time Open Championship winner had eight top-five finishes in a 19-year span, including three runner-up finishes.
The most famous was a major collapse in the final round in 1996. Norman entered Sunday with a six-stroke lead over Nick Faldo but lost by five shots when Faldo shot a 67 compared to Norman’s 78.
