NOW: THIS IS WHAT BRYSON SAID TO MAKE KOEPKA’S EYES ROLL
With all eyes on the Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka feud, both from the media and fans, it was only a matter of time before someone figured out what it was that DeChambeau did to cause Koepka to make an eye roll worthy of a pre-teen who’s parents just told them to take out the trash.

According to Koepka himself, DeChambeau in fact, didn’t say anything directly to him, but was talking about himself, presumably to himself or his Caddie.
“I don’t want to say he was like screaming – he was saying something about how he hit a perfect shot and it shouldn’t have been there, and it was just very, very loud. I don’t think the mics picked up on that, but it felt like just so that the fans could hear.” Koepka said.

So, while DeChambeau may not have poked fun at Koepka’s putting as was rumored by some, it was in fact, just a mistimed interruption that caused Koepka to eye roll DeChambeau into Twitter infamy.
Although actions have been taken since by the PGA to rid the internet of the leaked interview clip, Koepka maintains that ultimately, the feud is good for growing the game.
“The fact that golf’s on pretty much every news outlet for about two weeks pretty consistently, I think that’s a good thing. It’s growing the game. I get the traditionalists who don’t agree with it. I understand that, but I think to grow the game you’ve got to reach out to the younger generation.” Koepka remarked.

” I don’t want to say that’s what this is, but it’s reaching out to a whole bunch of people. It’s getting golf in front of people. I think it’s good for the game.”
