Yes, this is professional golfer, Padraig Harrington, hitting golf balls inside his home into what appears to be some curtains hanging from a two by four beam.

And yes, this is also professional golfer, Padraig Harrington, using some kind of make-shift swing aid in between his forearms and wrapped around his hands.

And, finally, yes, this is professional golfer, Padraig Harrington, hitting the ball through the netting, up into a light fixture, catching said ball on a single bounce, and nonchalantly placing the ball back on the tee.

On Padraig’s Twitter account, he admits to actually breaking three windows last year. So now he uses gymnastic pads to protect the lower half of the windows.

You also might notice the holes in the ceiling.  These marks, again according to Padraig, are from taking Happy Gilmore swings during speed training.  WHAT?!?

Hey Padraig, the guys at Golficity have you covered.  Here’s how you can make yourself an actual indoor golf simulator!

You’re welcome!

Kris became obsessed with the game of golf after deciding to finally hang up his baseball cleats about four years ago. Still learning the game, he’s leaned on much of the on-line golf community for help and loves to return the favor whenever possible. A contributor to several golf sites in the past, Kris writes from the perspective of your average golfer. One who has a passion for the game, but also has the typical restrictions of life and budget.
