The Titleist Golf Club R&D team has been firing on all cylinders recently, as evidenced by the recent launches of the super-low spin TS4 driver and limited edition Vokey 64T Slate Blue wedge, which was specifically designed for Augusta.

And despite these two noteworthy product launches, it looks like there’s no signs of the Titleist Golf Club team slowing down. Case and point, Titleist’s new CP-01 and CP-02 CNCPT irons:

According to Kelley Moser Jr., Manager, CNCPT Clubs, the CP-01 and CP-02 irons are the result of asking “What If?”

What if our R&D engineers could bring their dreams to reality, using materials and processes never before used in golf? We promise to provide them all the resources they need, so that CNCPT will always deliver the “wow.”

So what makes the CP-01 and CP-02 CNCPT irons special? To start, both irons feature a Super Metal L-Face Insert and High-Density Tungsten Weighting.

With respect to the Super Metal L-Face, by using a rare, super strong alloy never before used in club manufacturing, Titleist was able to create the thinnest unsupported, constant-thickness face that produces ball speeds that were previously unimaginable for golf irons.

Meanwhile, the High-Density Tungsten Weighting accounts for almost 50% of the total head weight in the lower lofts, which helps produce higher launches, more distance, and a more solid feel at impact.

Collectively, the Super Metal L-Face and High-Density Tungsten Weighting create the “world’s most satisfying ball-striking experience.”

While both irons will be known for their supreme speed, the CP-01 is designed as a more-forgiving, player’s distance iron.

Meanwhile, the CP-02 emanates the timeless beauty of a classic blade.

Considering the high quality products that the Titleist Golf Club R&D team have been churning out, there’s no doubt that the CP-01 and CP-02 will be packing plenty of performance to back up those droolworthy looks.

That said, expect Titleist’s unrestrained CNCPT irons to have a price tag that reflects the precision manufacturing and unprecedented material technologies.

Ever since golf became a competitive outlet, nothing brings Eric more joy than a well struck 4 iron.
