Not one time this year had Rickie Fowler carded a Top 10 finish; in fact, his last Top 10 takes us all the way back to January 2020 at the American Express.

All that ended today, as Fowler finished -1 for the tournament. Fowler, who was only in the field this week at the PGA Championship due to a special exemption, made the most of the week and carded three rounds under par.

Whether it was the prep match with MJ or not, Fowler’s play at the Ocean Course begs the question; is Fowler turning things around?

Fowler, who mentioned feeling some pressure due to being in on an exemption, more than proved himself, all while maintaining a great attitude.

“At the end of the day, we get to play an amazing game for a living,” Fowler said. “We have it pretty darn good out here, and we have fun”.

Maybe Fowler has turned the corner, after all.
