PGA Tour Forming a Golf League of Their Own With Tiger and Rory at The Helm
Starting in 2024, the PGA Tour will partner with Tiger and Rory to bring a more digestible version of golf. The format features a 3v3 format that will feature the best golfers in the world. In addition to that, it will only be 2 hours long.
It seems quite similar to what Good Good is doing other than it only being PGA Tour players. One can imagine it will be able to be streamed on multiple platforms catering to the next generations of golfers.

TGL, the golf league of TMRW Sports, will feature:
• Teams: Six teams of three PGA TOUR players;
• Tech-Infused Venue: A first-of-its-kind experience for golf enabled by a data-rich, virtual course complete with a tech-infused, short-game complex;
• Tech-Enabled Fan Experience: High-energy, greenside fan experience with every shot live within a 2-hour, primetime televised match;
• Season: 15 regular season Monday night matches followed by semifinals and finals matches, kicking off in January 2024
Just from the video, it seems like it will bring some riveting action. The kicker is potentially more dynamic commentary. The little we all know about this seems like a fresh take that features some exciting team golf for fans to get into.
TGL may shake things up a bit if it can perform to its highest potential.
