PGA TOUR Pranks First Timers At THE PLAYERS

It is a tradition at THE PLAYERS Championship for all of the players who are playing in the event for the first time, aka the “first timers,” to receive a pair of cufflinks from the PGA TOUR presented to them by commissioner Jay Monahan.

Those videos are absolutely hilarious! Seeing the different reactions of guys either accepting the gift, giving it back, or contemplating whether they wanted the cufflinks or not is so funny.

You can easily tell the difference between who has some extra cash and who knows they have better ways to spend over $8,000 than on a set of cufflinks.

Sahith Theegala’s response has to be the best one and my favorite. You can tell he knows he has to keep them, but he also doesn’t want to spend $8,472.16 on something he’ll never use.

Props to the PGA TOUR for this one, it was hilarious.
