The DP World Tour has really clamped down on those who defected to the LIV Series, punishing them for breaking rules laid out in the Tour Membership Handbook, which has been in place for some 30 years. However, they have not gone so far as to ban the LIV defectors, as the PGA Tour did.
CEO Keith Pelley had said that the DP World Tour ‘acted independently under our rules and regulations’.
