Phil Mickelson Joins Twitter and Everyone Loves It

Where were you when it happened?

What seemed like just another Wednesday for all of us, suddenly turned into one of the all-time great Twitter celebrations.

For the man we call “Lefty”, joined Twitter and announced his arrival in the most Phil way possible.

And then Golf Twitter went crazy (and had a lot of fun).

I think it’s easy to say Twitter may never be the same.

He’s already tweeted from the tee box at the Northern Trust!

I can only imagine the tweeting possibilities heading into the Ryder Cup and beyond!

Shot by shot analysis while he’s on the course. Making bets with his followers that he will or won’t hit the green from behind a tree right before the shot. Weird grip putting tips. Flop-shot twitter threads. Random “thumbs-up” tweets.

The possibilities are endless.  Stay tuned for more…
