Phil Mickelson Takes Big Shot At Brandel Chamblee

I feel it’s been a long time since we’ve had some serious golf drama. You know, the kind we got with Brooks and Bryson. Phil has always been good for a quote or two over his career (more like thousands, but you get it), and this week he delivered with a direct shot at golf analyst Brandel Chamblee.

Brandel is not one to receive criticism well. He dishes it out on air regularly, but when someone comes at him in any way, especially on Twitter, they get blocked faster than a middle-aged man in a pickup game at lifetime fitness.

This all stems from Claude Harmon III calling him “a paid actor” after Chamblee continues to push the company narrative. It is his job, after all.

Regardless of Brandel’s tweet defending himself or Phil taking a shot, we can all agree that golf is more fun with drama.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
