Matt Blois Separates from TXG (Again)
Media can be a hard nut to crack, but when personalities match up together, it’s a beautiful thing. Indeed, that “X Factor” is what makes groups like No Laying Up, Good Good, and our very own Golficity guys so likable.
The same goes for TXG’s YouTube channel when Ian Fraser and Matt Blois came together to generate content. Everything was magic. So it was heartbreaking for many fans when TXG announced that it was being acquired by Club Champion and, inexplicably, Matt would be going his own separate way.

The breakup was unexpected, and the channel wasn’t the same afterward, despite attempts to recreate the magic with Instagram personality Mac Boucher.
Less than a year after Matt exited, he unexpectedly came back to TXG in October 2022. Sadly, however, the sequel has not resulted in long-term success.

For a second time, and only a few months after announcing his return, Matt Blois is separating from TXG.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out long-term for both TXG and Matt Blois, but hopefully, the quality of the content does not suffer. That said, it is becoming more and more apparent that there is an insurmountable obstacle preventing Matt from deciding to stay following the Club Champion acquisition.
