Tucked away near Haverstraw, NY, this public gem attracts the eye of many locals with their well-kept ‘carpet-like’ greens.  The Phillip J. Rotella Memorial Golf Course facility in Thiells, New York features 6,502 yards of golf from the tips for a par of 72.  The grounds are equipped with many amenities and with a higher than average number of Par-3 holes, a golf cart is not needed (although you will find yourself walking up and down a few hills).
