LIV Golf’s third event is this weekend in Bedminster, New Jersey, and there are reports that Bubba Watson will be the latest golfer officially joining the tour during the weekend.

Handicap 54 has been on-point this year when it comes to defectors to LIV Golf, and Watson fits the bill. He’s a two-time Masters winner but also hasn’t won since 2018. At 43, he has a name, yet his best golf is likely behind him.

The report goes on to say that Watson will join the series in 2023 and will also be a team captain. LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman said last week after the Open Championship that the LIV Golf fields are full for the remaining six events this calendar year.

Chris has played some famous courses in the state, including Bay Hill in Orlando and Innisbrook in the Tampa Bay area, and next on his to-do list is the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass to take a crack at the famous island hole.
