There are tons and tons of players who play on the PGA TOUR it’s impossible to know every single player. Whether they just play in one event on a sponsors exemption or are a lifetime member, there are a lot of players.

Everyone knows the Jon Rahm’s, Justin Thomas’, Tiger Woods’ and Rory McIlroy’s but what about the guys on TOUR that nobody talks about? Well on Sunday Ryan Brehm proved to the golf world that everyone has a story and sometimes it’s bigger than the game of golf.

With everything piled up on Brehm, loss of his mother, his last PGA TOUR start before being sent back to the Korn Ferry Tour, needing to win to stay on the PGA TOUR, and his wife as his caddy, he was able to pull through and win.

With the win Brehm is now exempt on the PGA TOUR for the next two years, he gets to play in THE PLAYERS this week, he gets a spot in the guaranteed money Sentry Tournament of Champions next year, qualified for the PGA Championship in May, oh and not to mention he got $666,000 for winning the Puerto Rico Open as well.

Although this seems like there would’ve been a lot of pressure on Brehm going into the week, he looked at it differently.

Brehm said:

“There was really no pressure at all. I had everything to win and nothing to lose.”

This is truly an amazing story and I think the whole golf world can agree on this one, good for Brehm!
