WATCH: Norwegian Announcer Loses It After Viktor Hovland Chips In

Being the only golfer on the PGA TOUR from Norway or any country is going to draw a lot of attention to that player from their specific country, especially when you’re the number four ranked player in the world like Viktor Hovland is.

Let’s just say the Norway broadcast lost it when he chipped in out of the bunker Saturday on the tough 6th hole at Bay Hill.

Was this a golf broadcast or soccer broadcast? I can’t tell.

Anyway, it is awesome to see the way that Norway backs Hovland and how excited they get when he does something so amazing like chipping in out the bunker on one of the hardest holes at Bay Hill.

It would be nice to see the main broadcast get this excited all of the time but there is something special and more genuine about a whole country going nuts for one of their own guys out there doing something amazing. Let’s hope we see more of it soon.
