Scottie Scheffler closed out Billy Horschel in 18 holes to cap off a revenge match from last year’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play finals.

Scheffler birdied hole 16 to take the lead and never looked back. A wild display, Scottie zig-zagged his way to a wild and unlikely finish, almost as wild as the foot slip at the end of his swing.

Later in the afternoon, Scheffler beat Seamus Power 3 & 2 to advance.

Scheffler has an opportunity to advance to his second straight finals appearance and has the opportunity to take world number one status with a win at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and Jon Rahm’s departure.

Raised in Texas and undoubtedly comfortable after his successful tenure at the UT golf program, Scheffler looks as even-keeled as ever, poised to make a real move.

Recently added to the TaylorMade team roster, Scottie Scheffler is seizing his opportunity to ascend at the right time, providing must see action for his match against Dustin Johnson.
