Outdoor golf is coming at a premium right now for many of us. While those of us who experience all four seasons are currently tuning to heavier layers and dusting off shovels and snowplows, the simple truth is that there’s no reason our golf game also has to go dormant.

And to help feed your competitive spirit, the NEXT Golf Tour is officially underway with its Second Season with the inaugural event being held at a course we’re all familiar with: Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.

For just $130 (including 25 percent Danish VAT and a small handling fee), golfers across the world with access to a Trackman simulator can sign up for competition golf that has real purses at stake.  Indeed, $100 of each entry fee is added to the purse, so the more players in the field, the greater the payouts, with the top 30 percent of the field earning a paycheck. Additionally, NEXT competition rounds have popular in-round “side games,” with payouts of up to $4,000 for aggregate closest-to-pin, longest drive (men and women), longest birdie-or-better streak and more, will continue to offer significant earning potential.

For those unfamiliar with the NEXT Golf Tour, Trackman has partnered with the European Tour group to invite the top male performer of Season 2 to play in three Challenge Tour events and one DP World Tour event in 2024. But even if you aren’t able to lock down one of those spots, the NEXT Tour offers incredible competitive and financial opportunities for aspiring professional golfers.

Indeed, during Season 1, a total of 994 golfers from 41 countries competed for a total purse of $876,100. The leading money-winner took home $69,561, eight players earned more than $20,000, and 45 picked up at least $5,000. But Season 2 is promising even more events and, with that, even more money.

“With the success of the NEXT Golf Tour in Season 1, Trackman proved that competing on indoor simulators can be an instrumental tool in helping professional golfers achieve their goals,” said Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen, Trackman co-founder and CEO. “The NEXT Golf Tour ticks all the boxes in regard to financial rewards, staying competitive and heightened exposure — core elements professional players require in the pursuit of their goals.”

As of this moment, dates and courses for Rounds 1 through 3 have been confirmed:

  • Round 1 will see players tee off at the iconic Marco Simone Golf & Country Club (Nov. 24–Dec. 3),
  • Round 2 will be played at Medinah Country Club (Dec. 8–17) and
  • Round 3 at the Taiheiyo Club Gotemba Course (Jan 5–14)

Courses for Rounds 4–7 will be revealed soon.

The top 100 players (plus ties) on the Order of Merit through the first six events will qualify for the Season Finale, where they will compete for a $100,000 purse, with a $50,000 bonus pool distributed to the top 10 finishers on the final Order of Merit.

So rather then letting your game get rusty, hop on your computer and find the closest Trackman and sign up for Round 1 at Marco Simone right now before the event is fully subscribed.
