SkyTrak Quick Tip: Target Mode
Remember the old Tiger Woods video games that had the side challenges? In particular the driving range with the different targets to hit into? You would get points based on how close to the center of the target you hit the ball.
It was a fun way to kill some time and practice your skills without getting bored. Plus the soundtrack in those games were awesome.

SkyTrak has this thing called Target mode and it’s just like that. You can pick how big or small you want the target and completely customize how far you’ve got to hit it.
I’m a big fan of using this for my 125 and in practice. I want to throw darts at the pin and this is a fun way to work on that. The further I get from the flag, the harder it is to score so I opt for be larger target. When I’m at the go zone I like to move to the harder settings. “Aim small, miss small” is the saying right? Same concept here. You do need the game improvement package to play this mode so keep that in mind.
If you’re looking to add a SkyTrak to your practice routine, check out rainorshinegolf.com for a wide variety of options. Everything from full simulator bays to individual SkyTrak launch monitors. They have really helped my game and they can help you too. If you have played this mode before, let us know how you like to use it. Are you firing darts from 150 yards or testing your long game? I’d love to know.
