SkyTrak Quick Tip: Wedge Matrix

mm

Published

on

How do you pick the right wedge into the green? Do you hit a full sand wedge or three quarter gap wedge? There are a lot of options to choose from but determining the right club is half the battle.

The wedge matrix tool in the SkyTrak game improvement section is just what you need to solve this problem.

The wedge matrix is great for the player who really wants to know what they can do with their wedges. There is something nice about knowing that the wedge you just pulled out of your bag is the best one for the shot you need to hit.

When I play a course and I know that I can fire directly at a back tucked pin because it is in my go zone, the game gets a little bit easier. On the flip side of that, I know that some distances are best to avoid because I am not as productive.

The pros on tour spend a lot of time working on their wedges and finding out what distances they thrive and what distances they struggle at. If you can find a way to incorporate the same thought process into your own game, then there is no limit to what you can achieve. Getting a skylark from rainorshinegolf.com was something that has absolutely changed my game for the better.

The confidence I have in my wedges now makes me feel like no pin is outside of my skillset. that confidence level is something I have never felt. If you have used a SkyTrak, you get it. If you haven’t, go get one. Your game will thank you.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
