STYLE: adidas Releases Limited-Edition Stan Smith Golf

In honor of the first (and, arguably, most popular) Major of the year, adidas is releasing a limited edition of one of its iconic shoes: the Stan Smith sneaker.

For the first time in the history of the brand, adidas is bringing this classic silhouette that has transcended sport and style to golfers everywhere.

Always iconic, now more sustainable, this limited edition spikeless version of the shoe features a PRIMEGREEN upper made with high-performance recycled materials. The distinctive green colorway makes a statement that speaks to our journey to END PLASTIC WASTE.

In addition to helping the environment, this version of the Stan Smith utilizes an adiwear rubber spikeless outsole with traction inspired by the shoe’s original sole design. The small lugs will give golfers traction when they need it, but the versatility to wear the shoe anywhere. adidas also added a die-cut PU sockliner and additional PU cushioning in the midsole to provide golf-specific support in every step. Subtle features like a removable white kiltie that houses a gold-colored ball marker with our Trefoil logo also give the well-known model some distinctive characteristics to push on-course style even further.

The limited-edition Stan Smith Golf will come in the traditional Originals blue shoe box and will contain a commemorative dust bag to help keep the shoes looking fresh, round after round.

The iconic silhouette will be available in limited quantities for $140 on Wednesday, April 7 at 8am PT on adidas.com. In the U.S., access to purchase the shoe on adidas.com will be for Creators Club members (which is free to join here).
