So to make sure no round is cut short, whether you’re at home or vacationing in Scotland, Ireland or England, Galway Bay is releasing its newest All-Weather rainwear line that incorporates improvements to its renowned lightweight, breathable, fully waterproof Hydro-Flex 32 fabric.

Before diving into the new pieces, it’s important to briefly discuss what makes Galway Bay’s Hydro-Flex 32 fabric an industry exclusive that actually delivers the goods (in fact, the All-Weather Jacket is my go-to option when the weather gets wet). The bi-component technology is a proprietary, three-layer 100% waterproof fabric that is constructed with a hydrophilic interior that pulls moisture away from the skin and transfers it to the outer layer, while the exterior surface area disperses and releases moisture for more efficient dry times. It regulates temperature in both hot and cold conditions. Additionally, the fabric is more breathable, stretchable than ever, and features a rubberized waterproof zipper that together ensures the ultimate comfort and fit providing true performance.

For 2021, Galway Bay has made its proprietary, ultra-waterproof Hydro-Flex 32 fabric even lighter and stretchier for better freedom of movement. This has been combined with new colorways for the All-Weather Jacket, including a Black on Black, Black on Sage, and, for the first time, an eye-catching short-sleeved White jacket with Black accents.

Galway Bay’s new All-Weather Pants are now available with a quieter, lighter Hyrdo-Flex 32 fabric for comfort and ease of motion. The waterproof and windproof pants now come in standard and tailored fits, the latter of which features a more modern-cut tapered leg. Like normal pants, Galway Bay’s All-Weather Pants feature belt loops, a seven-inch zipper and nine-inch-deep pockets.

The black-on-black is a versatile staple that will likely be our best seller but we’re excited to be doing new things with our colorways and how the accents panels and the logos appear on jackets so the looks really pop. The Black with Sage Jacket really takes some fun, new directions with the accent panels but it’s still a great-looking, classic piece,” says Brown.
