This. Dude. Is. Big.    Like, NFL left tackle big.

Meet Jon Thompson, a Tour Pro with a massive frame who weighs a cool 3 bills and is nearly 7 feet tall.  His golf clubs alone are probably 6 inches longer than Bryson’s.

Here is Jon standing next to a 6’1″ 250 pound Bryson DeChambeau.  According to Daniel Rapaport of Golf Digest, Thomson had a medically difficult past, but has overcome a lot to make it to such a high level on Tour.

“My No. 1 goal is to just enjoy the whole experience,” Thomson said. “Look, back in the day, this was always the dream for me when I was lying in my hospital bed. I kept saying, ‘I’ll play in an Open.’ And now, qualifying for my first major, and it’s the Open. It’s pretty cool. There are no words.”

Good luck to the big guy. Good thing there are no jackets given out because it would require some serious tailoring.
