Tyrell Hatton recently won one of the top events on the European Tour wearing a hoodie. Does this now ultimately change the “golf uniform?” Well, for one club in England, they made sure that it didn’t.

Wearside Golf Club needed to reassure their members and the golf community by publicly making a statement on the matter. Does this mean Tyrell won’t be allowed into Wearside wearing an Adidas scripted golf hoodie? I guess not, but personally, I think that’s foolish.
Golf is changing day by day and that includes what people wear. Now, I’m not saying that it’s okay to wear cargo pants and jeans on the course, but something as small as a lightweight hoodie isn’t something the club should be making a big deal about. Then on top of that, publicly letting the Champion know it wasn’t okay to wear one.
What do you think, should golf hoodies be allowed at more courses?
