Sun Day Red has officially unveiled its second shoe, of course developed with the expertise of Tiger Woods, as the Pioneer Magnolia marks a new look in a very limited lineup.

The Pioneer Magnolia aims to fuse the performance of the Pioneer Collection with the elegance of the wingtip golf shoe design.

Featuring must-haves like waterproof leather and a classic appearance, the shoe is set to appear all week at the 2025 Valspar Championship on SDR ambassador Karl Vilips:

Charley Hudak, SDR’s Senior Creative Director, said:

“We attempted to modernize the design of a classic wingtip while maintaining a heritage feel, but make no mistake, following our ‘athlete comes first’ mantra with Tiger, the technical underpinnings of the Magnolia are what truly set it apart. Performance is core to everything we do.”

As it was for the Pioneer Cypress, the Pioneer Magnolia went through the extensive checklist of Tiger Woods:

“Every detail—from the dual insole options to the strategic cleat configuration—has been refined through Tiger’s practical course experience and decades of competitive play.”

Sun Day Red Pioneer Magnolia Features

  • Premium Full Grain waterproof leather in a wingtip design with brogue details and pinked edges
  • Blucher throat construction for enhanced fit adjustability as foot flexes during the swing
  • Two sets of premium laces—waxed for maximum tie-down performance or colored for enhanced style
  • Two removable insole options (Custom Massage or Smooth) for personalized feel
  • Proprietary EVA foam midsole with 6mm heel-to-toe drop for stability during the swing
  • High-density TPU outsole with 9-cleat configuration for reliable traction
  • Double-stitched storm welt for enhanced durability and style

Availability and Pricing

The Sun Day Red Pioneer Magnolia is available on SunDayRed.com for $275 as of today.
