TaylorMade has launched a new Milled Grind 4 RAW Tiger Woods Grind in both 56 and 60-degree lofts, allowing players to game the same clubs the GOAT has this year.

TaylorMade already has a set of Tiger Woods irons that are available on its website, and are played by the likes of Tiger himself and Scottie Scheffler.

However, it has decided to make the 56 and 60-degree wedges that Woods has used this year at the Genesis Invitational, The Masters, the PGA Championship, and the U.S. Open available.

The MG4 RAW TW Grind differs from other TaylorMade wedges in the sense that they have a slightly larger footprint than other models. This gives “a sense of roundness and continuity” throughout the profile of the club, increasing confidence and potentially forgiveness.

Here are the specs of both:

MG4 RAW TW Grind 56°

  • Bounce: 12°
  • Length: 35.35’’
  • Lie: 64°
  • Swingweight: D5
  • Shaft: DG Tour Issue S400
  • Grip: Tour Velvet Cord
  • Material: 8620 Carbon Steel
  • Finish: Raw
  • Hand: RH Only

MG4 RAW TW Grind 60°

  • Bounce: 11°
  • Length: 35’’
  • Lie: 64°
  • Swingweight: D5
  • Shaft: DG Tour Issue S400
  • Grip: Tour Velvet Cord
  • Material: 8620 Carbon Steel
  • Finish: Raw
  • Hand: RH Only

The MG4 wedges utilize laser-etched Spin Tread and a raw face that provides higher spin and better bite around the greens. This applies in both dry and wet conditions, making it one of the more well-rounded wedges available on the market today.

Wedges, like any club, truly rely on personal preference. The appearance of an MG wedge is much different than a Vokey or a Cleveland ZipCore, so be sure to take a peek at the profile and make sure it is for you.
