‘The Longest Day in Golf’ Features Big Names Trying for U.S. Open Spot

Today is the “Longest Day in Golf,” a 36-hole marathon that will establish who will be heading to the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

There are plenty of big names waiting to find out whether they will be playing in the big show, and the day is just beginning.

Here are some of the biggest names in professional golf who are playing at the ten regional U.S. Open qualifiers in an effort to make it to the third Major Championship of the year:
