The Masters has officially confirmed Tiger Woods’s status for the 2025 tournament, indicating that the five-time Green Jacket winner will not tee it up at Augusta this year.

As we move closer to The 2025 Masters Tournament, Augusta National releases the names of past champions who do not intend to play. Woods is among the names on the list:

Although it is disappointing, it should not be much of a surprise. This will be Woods's first missed appearance at The Masters since 2021, when he didn't play in any Majors due to recovering from a car accident. He didn't play at The Masters in 2014, 2016, or 2017, either. However, Woods has not missed a cut at the Masters in his professional career, and set a record for consecutive cuts made at the tournament last year.
