The golf season is fully underway; scores are being submitted for handicapping, twilight rounds are being played, and fittings days are popping up left and right.

Naturally, that means it’s also time to add (or replace) a few things in your bag to help kick off the season, refresh your setup, and help lower your scores.

Arccos is one of the original pioneers in golf shot tracking and data analysis for amateurs. So if you’ve been missing out, now’s probably the best time to jump on this great deal from Arccos. The Caddie Bundle includes Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors and Arccos Caddie Link (which we reviewed last year) to help capture every shot during your round and, later, with the help of Arccos’ wealth of data, analyze how you performed against other golfers with different handicaps thanks to Strokes Gained Analysis.

Plus, by buying the Caddie Bundle instead of the Smart Sensors and Link separately, you can save 10%.

FlightScope Mevo & Mevo+

Whether you want to practice at home or at the range, one of the biggest drawbacks is not having access to a quality launch monitor to capture data.

Fortunately, FlightScope’s Mevo and Mevo+ can turn any practice session, indoors or outdoors, into a meaningful experience by providing you with data points like carry distance, ball and club speed, spin rate, smash factor, vertical launch angle, apex height and flight time (Mevo+ also provides users with spin axis, spin loft, angle of attack, horizontal launch angle, lateral landing, roll and total distance, and shot type).

Additionally, users can capture all this invaluable data without interruption using the Mevo app on their mobile phone or tablet automatically.

Shot Scope V3 GPS Watch and PRO L1

Shot Scope is, arguably, one of the other top contenders for shot tracking, and the new V3 GPS release has certainly improved an already potent product. Absent any membership fees, the V3 seamlessly provides you with distances to hazards and the front, middle and back of greens while tracking shots with all 14 clubs in your bag. Additionally, after confirming the round, Shot Scope analyzes your round with Strokes Gained Analysis to see what aspects of your game should be prioritized for quick improvement.

That said, if you don’t happen to be interested in shot tracking, Shot Scope also offers a GPS-only watch that provides you with the same accurate, invaluable information.

Alternatively (or, perhaps, to further complement your V3), Shot Scope now offers the PRO L1, a laser rangefinder that offers premium features like tournament-legal slope distance adjustment, target vibrations and changeable red and black optics.

ECCO’s BIOM H4

A new season means new shoes, and the latest offering from ECCO’s BIOM line, the BIOM H4, features innovative stability and traction technology for advanced performance and motion control through the swing. Offered in 4 colorways for both men and women, BIOM H4 boasts a visible T. PU stabilizer that wraps around the foot from the outsole to the midsole for enhanced stability, while adding to the contemporary design with vibrant color pops in certain styles.

The BIOM H4 is constructed with a premium performance leather upper that is protected with 100% GORE-TEX waterproof technology and sits atop the new ECCO MTN GRIP outsole with 3 zones of traction for the ideal blend of stability, durability and rotational support. Additionally, BIOM NATURAL MOTION Technology enables the foot to move naturally, close to the ground, and forms like a second skin around the foot.

As a result, the BIOM H4 won’t just keep your feet dry, but it’ll also make sure they’re comfortable while you’ve got plenty of traction and a near-instant break-in.

The Clover Whiskey

Whether you need a little something during the round or something to celebrate afterwards, the late great Bobby Jones liked to enjoy 3 fingers of the finest local whiskey. To sustain the legacy of golf’s greatest gentleman and champion, The Clover Whiskey portfolio features single-barrel, straight whiskeys distilled with excellence and integrity.

Due to its nature, The Clover was originally allocated only to the finest clubs and resorts. Seen in Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, East Lake Golf Club, Pinehurst Resort and more, The Clover has now opened its distribution across the country for others to experience distinguished excellence of its 3 expressions: Single Barrel Straight Bourbon, Single-Barrel Straight Tennessee Bourbon and Single Barrel Straight Rye.

I can personally attest that the Single Barrel Straight Bourbon is now a regular among my liquor options, and is great for both new and seasoned whiskey drinkers.
