This Tiger WGC Stat Will Absolutely Blow Your Mind
First, let me start by saying congrats to Abraham Ancer on his amazing WGC-FedEx win.
I’m sure it will be the first of many PGA TOUR victories for this talented and rising young star.

With that said, let’s put his WGC win in a bit of perspective with yet another truly mind-blowing statistic that sheds even more light on just how much Tiger has dominated the sport over the past two decades.
World Golf Championship wins:
18: Tiger
10: Tiger in his 20s
8: Tiger at Firestone
6: Dustin Johnson
5: Tiger by 4+ shots
4: Tiger in playoffs
3: Tiger in match play
3: Phil Mickelson
3: Rory McIlroy

Yeah, go ahead and let that one sink in a little bit…I’ll wait.

That’s right Tiger had 10 WGC wins…IN HIS TWENTIES!
We see so much young talent on Tour right now but who even comes close to matching something like that? Dustin Johnson is currently in second place with “only” six WGC wins to Tiger’s eighteen!
The only real question is just how many of Tiger’s legendary records will remain untouchable…
