Normally this wouldn’t be that big of a deal for an athlete to talk a little more casually while on a podcast but for Tiger its a rare occurrence. You could tell how big of a deal it was when the hosts’ eyes perked up and one started fist pumping.

Tiger has been in the spotlight for literally all of his life so you would think this would happen a little more often. Aside from the “God dammit Tiger” on the course, he’s tends to keep it formal during interviews.

I hate to admit it but Tiger’s swing then is better than my swing now.

I also wasn’t aware how big of a fan Tiger is of spearfishing, he may actually like spearfishing more than golf.

He called in “sick” to the Western Open in 2002 but in reality went on a spearfishing trip with his buddies.
