Tiger Gives Health Update at Press Conference in Bahamas
This morning, Tiger Woods gave his first public press conference since his horrific crash earlier this year.
The 15 time major winner was able to give us a glimpse into the future of his golf game.

Clearly emotional about his entire situation, he gave straight forward and honest answers to the expected questions that were thrown at him aside from anything related to the car crash. He told the reporter that the details of the crash were in the police report after being asked if he remembers anything from it.
When asked about playing competitively again, he explained that there is no set date for a return at the current moment but his ultimate goal was to be able to play in a few tournaments a year (majors only?)
“As far as playing at the Tour level I don’t know when that will happen.”
He made it very clear that he will probably never go back to a full competitive tournament schedule.

Closing in on 46 years old, the road to a full recovery is expected to be a long one, Tiger said:
“This one’s been much more difficult. The knee stuff, those operations were one thing then I had the back, that’s another level and then with this right leg, it’s hard to explain how difficult it has been… All my friends and family and there were some tough times in there. There were some really, really tough times and the pain got pretty great at times.”
We also learned that there was a great chance that Tiger could have left that hospital with one less leg.
That is a scary thought that shows us just how lucky he is to be alive.

Tiger explained that after his return in 2018, he felt like he had “climbed Mt. Everest,” but says he doesn’t think he will be able to accomplish that feat this time around.
Whether or not we will ever see Tiger in the winner’s circle again is anyone’s guess.

That’s a tough pill to swallow for the golf world.
Love him or hate him, Tiger single handedly transformed the game of golf into what it is today.
