Tiger Woods Assists with Amazing Trick Shot

As if Tiger Mania wasn’t enough during professional tournaments, Tiger is now drawing some more excitement off the course. And this time its good excitement.

It was well cataloged earlier this week that Tiger had his 20th annual “Tiger Jam” to help raise funds for his charity, the Woods Foundation. There were several celebrities in attendance, including NFL starts Larry Fitzgerald and Reggie Bush, as well as other TV stars from multiple ventures. The event also saw a chance to caddie for Woods sell for $50,000.

To entertain his guests at the weekend event, Woods invited Instagram trick shot star Josh Kelly also known to all of us as Hole in One Trick Shots, or Team HITS. Kelly has put together some amazing shots for his viewers and wanted to make sure he involved Tiger for his biggest trick of the night. Kelly started off by juggling a ball on his wedge, passed the ball over to Tiger, who then passed it back for Kelly to hit square with his driver. Kelly was able to film the move and add it to Instagram later.

The trick actually pays homage to one of Woods’ former Nike ads. In the commercial, Tiger is doing crazy tricks with his ball, juggling it on a wedge in between his legs, in front of him and behind his back. The climax of the shot has Woods juggling it high to himself and then hitting a perfect wedge shot out of mid-air. The shot has appeared in multiple spots on TV and even on the PGA TOUR video games.

Kelly was honored to have the opportunity to work with Woods and be invited to Tiger Jam. “Dreams really do come true!” Kelly posted on Instagram. “Not only has he always been my inspiration to play golf but also one of the biggest reason why I do what I do today. Thank you for the amazing weekend at #tigerjam”

It’s great to see Tiger having some fun and seeing that he still has the trick shots in his arsenal. Maybe in the future, he and Kelly can hook up again to produce an even more amazing shot for the world to see.
