Tiger Woods was seen this morning hitting balls at what appears to be a clinic alongside Will Zalatoris and Rickie Fowler at Liberty National Golf Club, surging rumors of his potential return from injury.

Woods has not played since the 2023 Masters, where he withdrew after making the cut due to a reoccurring injury with his plantar fasciitis.

Woods has been spotted several times since then, but never on a course. After working to play in only the Majors and a few other notable tournaments, like the Genesis Invitational at the Riviera in Los Angeles, it appears he may be heading toward improved health that could see him compete once again next year.

In April, just after the Masters, Woods underwent a successful subtalar fusion surgery, which aimed to heal some of the ailments he was experiencing with his feet.

“Earlier today, Tiger underwent a subtalar fusion procedure to address his post-traumatic arthritis from his previous talus fracture,” a statement from his team said. “It was performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at HSS Sports Medicine Institute in New York City. He has determined the surgery to be successful.”

We are sure that Woods will never perform a full schedule again because of the health issues he’s experienced over the years. However, if this is an indication of the direction he is heading in, perhaps we will see him in Augusta next year as he may attempt to win his sixth Green Jacket and get closer to Jack Nicklaus on the all-time Majors list.

We don’t want to get too excited about it, but seeing him on a range is certainly encouraging.

It was reported by TWLegion that Tiger did not take any full swings, but he was hitting chip shots and seemed to be in good spirits while alongside his colleagues.

The full video of his session is available below:

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
