Tiger Woods is hitting golf balls once again, marking the first time we have seen the 15-time Major Champion on the range or playing golf at any capacity since his withdrawal from the Masters due to injury in April.

Woods was seen this past weekend at Pebble Beach Resorts, specifically The Hay, a Par-3 course that he designed on the property. This weekend, Pebble Beach Resorts is hosting the TGR Jr. Invitational, and the competitive nature of the tournament may have gotten to Big Cat as he was seen hitting golf balls.

It marks the first time we’ve seen Woods since last month when he performed a clinic with Will Zalatoris and Rickie Fowler, but Tiger has not been in the public eye much since the Masters in April. After making the cut, Woods withdrew before his Sunday tee time, citing issues with his plantar fasciitis.

After the Masters, Woods underwent a “subtalar fusion procedure to address his post-traumatic arthritis from his previous talus fracture,” a statement from his team said in April. The successful subtalar fusion surgery was the first step in his potential comeback.

Woods has only played Major Championships and other notable tournaments that he has a hand in, including the HERO World Challenge, which he hosts every year, and the Genesis Invitational at the Riveria Country Club in Los Angeles.

However, we do not know what his future looks like in terms of competitive golf due to his injuries, and judging by the video, it seems Tiger still has ways to go before things are solid enough to invoke a comeback.

Woods looks remarkably skinnier in this new video, which may have been according to his rehabilitation plan. However, that is unconfirmed, but he looks noticeably smaller.

Moving forward, we’ll keep an eye out for news about Woods’s potential return.

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
