Tiger Woods Makes Decision on Return to PGA TOUR
Tiger Woods has made his decision on his return to the PGA TOUR at the Genesis Invitational, the tournament he hosts each year that is usually held at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.
This year, it will be played at Torrey Pines in San Diego, as the Los Angeles wildfires threatened tournament property and it was determined a new venue would be used.
Woods has officially confirmed his intention to play in the event:

Woods only played five events in the 2024 season: the Genesis Invitational and the four Major Championships. He missed three cuts in the five events. He withdrew from last year’s Genesis Invitational because of influenza.
It was truly up in the air if we would get to see Woods back this early in the PGA TOUR season. Unfortunately, Woods has dealt with more than just his accumulated injuries over the years. He recently lost his mother, Kultida, he announced earlier this week.
Woods is making his first appearance since playing at The Open Championship at Royal Troon last year.
