Tiger Woods Reveals 2024 Tournament Plans

Tiger Woods has reportedly revealed his plans for 2024 in terms of playing golf tournaments on the PGA Tour.

Woods has been playing very sparingly for the past few years due to injuries and other ailments. Last year, Woods managed to play a few tournaments before making it to Augusta in April, only to withdraw from The Masters before the Sunday round after making the cut because of an issue with his plantar fasciitis.

Woods has already committed to play in this week’s Hero World Challenge, a tournament he has hosted for several years in the Bahamas.

However, he has reportedly been telling people in South Florida that he will play as many as six tournaments in 2024, as he has not had as many issues with walking as the surgeries and rehabilitation to his injuries has helped solve a lot of his pain.

We have seen Woods caddie for his son Charlie in various tournaments, and it is evident that walking is definitely not as much as a stressor for Tiger as it has been in past years.

Tiger Woods’ Injury Update is Good News / Bad News

We can speculate on which tournaments Woods will play in 2024. The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles is a normal appearance for Tiger, as well as the Masters. Woods will likely want to play each of the four majors, and perhaps the Players.

However, we will have to see how Woods holds up with the walking and if his injury causes any issues this weekend or as the PNC Championship nears, where he will play with Charlie once again.

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
