History has shown when Tiger Woods is away from the PGA Tour due to injury, we’re all looking to get any glimpse of the megastar to see if any clues to his game can be gleaned from the footage.

Well, since requiring surgery on his injured ankle following a withdrawal at The Masters in the spring, we haven’t seen much when it comes to Woods.

That all changed this past weekend.

No, Woods wasn’t working in his new role as PGA Tour Policy Board member at the BMW Championship.

Instead, he had his dad hat on at a Florida State Golf Association event, supporting his son Charlie.

Tien Do, a fellow competitor, posted a brief clip of the 15-time major winner watching alongside the range.

@tiendogolf what an awesome experience playing in a tournament and the GOAT (aka Tiger) shows up 🐅🐐#tiger #tigerwoods #goat #d1golfer #tournament #golf #pgatour ♬ original sound – Tien

The folks at Golf.com took the time to slow things down and point out that Woods had a compression sleeve going all the way down his left leg, and Woods was also rocking some flip-flops.

On the course, Do outlasted Woods in a playoff to win the tournament.

As for when we’ll see his famous father on the course again, there have been no updates after his surgery in April.

Year-round golf is a perk of living in Florida, where Chris moved from his native New York shortly after graduating from college. Chris has played some famous courses in the state, including Bay Hill in Orlando and Innisbrook in the Tampa Bay area, and next on his to-do list is the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass to take a crack at the famous island hole.
