Tiger Woods’ Sunday Red Shirt From 2010 Masters Fetches Six Figures at Auction
What’s believed to be the only “Sunday red” from Tiger Woods’ career to ever hit the auction block is now sold, and the final sale price met the expectation that it would go for six figures.

The winning bid was just shy of $140,000.
The shirt, worn in the 2010 Masters where Woods finished fourth to Phil Mickelson, is also autographed by Woods and inscribed with “2010 Masters Final Round.”
While the shirt wasn’t from one of his five victories at Augusta, it is a bit infamous for being the first major after Woods’ very public incident with ex-wife Elin Nordegren over Thanksgiving in 2009.
The apparel from Woods, who is famous for wearing a red shirt on Sunday after securing so many wins wearing the color, had bidding begin at $5,000, but it was expected to quickly rise given the rare nature of the item.
There was some intrigue as to how far the price would go after the set of irons he used in the Tiger Slam-era went for $5 million. While the bidding didn’t reach those stratospheric levels, it was still a hefty price for what will certainly be the centerpiece of any collection.
