Tiger Woods trolled everyone this morning with a legendary April Fools’ Joke just a few weeks after he announced that he ruptured his Achilles tendon.

Woods was ruled out of The Masters next week due to his injury, which occurred during training and practicing for the first Major of the year. Woods has not missed The Masters since 2021, when he was still recovering from a car accident that occurred near the Genesis Invitational.

The 15-time Major winner posted on X earlier today that he was ready to play The Masters next week after “sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber” and being tasked with “explosive lifts” by his doctors and trainers:

“I can’t believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week! Can’t wait! See y’all on the course.”

Reactions were mixed, but we knew right away it was too good to be true:

Others seemed to be less than aware of what day it was:

Woods will likely be out for most of the year with this injury, and there could be a chance he plays in the last two Majors of the year at the U.S. Open at Oakmont and The Open Championship at Royal Portrush.

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
