Titleist made its AVX golf ball for 2024 longer, softer, and with more spin than ever, improving on one of the mainstays in its lineup for this year and delivering more performance out of one of its most sought-after balls.

Improvements from Titleist on a yearly basis have encapsulated the company’s commitment to helping players of all skill levels improve with equipment that is catered to their game. The new features include:

  • A new gradient, high-speed core delivers longer distances from tee-to-green and improves an already exceptionally soft feel from the AVX.
  • Titleist has equipped the 2024 AVX with a new, high-flex casting layer that helps longer shots have less spin, increasing distance and improving ball flight.
  • A new 346 quadrilateral dipyramid catenary design helps the ball stay down and delivers a piercing flight to help with distance and accuracy.
  • A softer urethane cover delivers a soft feel and excellent short-game control through revolutionary spin.

These four improvements optimize aerodynamic performance from the AVX. The package that Titleist equipped on the ball for this year is designed to complement its individual construction and fight window while optimizing distance for players who could truly use it.

The AVX is the ball in Titleist’s lineup that is most relative to the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash, as it maintains lower flying, lower spinning, and softer feel performance options in a ball.

Jeremy Stone, Vice President of Titleist’s Golf Ball Marketing Department, said:

When we ask golfers why they play AVX, the answer is usually distance and feel. When we ask them what they want more of, the answer is usually greenside spin. New AVX is unique because not only were we able to give golfers more spin and control around the greens, but we were also able to improve on AVX’s strengths.”

The new AVX from Titleist is set to hit golf shops on January 24 at a price of $49.99 a dozen.
