Along with the drivers, GT Fairway Metals will also be in the bag for numerous TOUR Pros this week at Muirfield Village.
Cameron Young is one of those players:
“The whole [Titleist Golf Club R&D] team from top to bottom is just obsessed with making things as good as they can and they have such a deep understanding of us on the PGA TOUR and golfers in general. They’ve seen everything, and there’s no little thing that you can bring to them that isn’t fixable or something they can’t experiment with. They all have such a deep knowledge of the equipment, there’s always a solution to what you’re looking for.”
The process of having a new club validated starts at the TOUR level for Titleist. Players will be equipping the new drivers and woods this week and gaining performance feedback directly from players to fine-tune and make adjustments before they hit the market for amateur players.

Titleist’s Reputation on TOUR with Drivers
Titleist routinely is the most-used golf OEM on TOUR in several product categories, including balls and irons. However, it is also the most-played Driver on the PGA TOUR, with more than 25 players gaming the company’s big stick than any other manufacturer.
Among the players gaming Titleist drivers are Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Cameron Young, Will Zalatoris, Matt Fitzpatrick, Patrick Cantlay, and Nick Taylor.
Additionally, Titleist is the most-chosen driver brand at the biggest amateur championships. More than half of the field at the Men’s NCAA Division 1 Championships played Titleist drivers. It was also the most played at the Women’s NCAA Divison 1 Championships in May, while Titleist dominated the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in April.
More details regarding the Titleist GT lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.
