Titleist Launches 2025 T-Series Irons On TOUR: Here’s What’s New
Titleist has officially launched its 2025 T-Series Irons, an improvement from the past iteration by ironing out a few things that both players and the company wanted to fix from the 2023 version.
Unfortunately for us, Titleist did not detail the exact changes it made with the new irons. However, we have some various details that give us a good idea of what to expect from the new T-Series irons from top to bottom.

General Improvements Across the 2025 T-Series
-
Enhanced Aesthetics and Build Quality: Titleist addressed feedback about the 2023 T200 and T350, particularly the “plastic-looking” back badge, by refining the design for a sleeker, more premium look. The T250 and T350 feature a muscle pad design that aligns cosmetically with the T100 and T150, improving visual consistency across blended sets.
-
Vokey-Inspired Sole Design: Collaboration with Vokey wedge engineers continued, refining the Variable Bounce Sole for better turf interaction. The 2025 models have a softened trailing edge, making the irons flow faster through the turf, even after contact, compared to the 2023 versions.
-
Tour Feedback Integration: The 2025 lineup reflects years of player testing and feedback, aiming for incremental improvements in feel, stability, and performance, as emphasized by Titleist’s Senior Director of Club Promotions, JJ Van Wezenbeeck.
-
True Temper AMT Shafts: The 2025 T-Series continues to offer True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT shafts (Ascending Mass Technology) as a stock option, with lighter long-iron shafts and heavier short-iron shafts to optimize launch. This is consistent with prior models but remains a key feature.
Model-Specific Improvements
-
T100 (Modern Tour Iron)
-
Refined Feel and Stability: The 2025 T100 features an updated, thicker back bar for a more solid feel at impact compared to the 2023 T100, which already had an enhanced back bar.
-
Precision CNC Face Milling: The precision CNC face milling process, introduced in 2023, has been further refined to eliminate imperfections, enhancing ball flight consistency, especially from varied lies like the first cut.
-
Tungsten Weighting: The forged dual-cavity construction with dense D18 tungsten (heel and toe) remains, but CG placement is more precise due to a 2,000°F aerospace brazing process, improving forgiveness and performance over the 2023 model.
-
Subtle Design Tweaks: The cavity design appears slightly deeper, potentially adding stability, while maintaining a compact, tour-inspired look similar to the 2023 T100.
-
Muscle Channel Addition: A muscle channel, not present in the 2023 T100, has been added, possibly to enhance face flex and ball speed, aligning it closer to the T150’s performance characteristics.
-
-
T150 (Faster Tour Iron)
-
Improved Forgiveness and Profile: The 2025 T150 has a slightly larger footprint than the 2023 T150, increasing forgiveness and confidence without sacrificing its compact, tour-inspired look.
-
Refined Muscle Channel: The muscle channel, introduced in the 2023 T150, is now positioned closer to the face, enhancing ball speed and creating a more solid feel at impact compared to its predecessor.
-
Stronger Lofts and Speed: Built on the same forged platform as the T100 with 2-degree stronger lofts, the 2025 T150 offers more distance and speed than the 2023 T150, which was already an evolution from the T100S.
-
Tungsten and Brazing: Like the T100, it uses dense D18 tungsten and the 2,000°F brazing process for precise CG placement, improving on the 2023 model’s forgiveness and consistency.
-
-
T250 (Replaces T200 – Players’ Distance Iron)
-
New Model Introduction: The T200, a staple since 2019, is replaced by the T250, addressing the 2023 T200’s criticism of being too large and less cohesive with T100/T150 in blended sets. The T250 has a slightly larger profile than the T200 but is sleeker, with a hollow-body design and no cavity badge, resembling a muscle-back blade for a premium look.
-
Enhanced Feel and Speed: The T250 features a redesigned internal structure with a more stable chassis, refined Max Impact Technology, and a dual-taper forged face, delivering tour-level feel and speed across a larger hitting area compared to the 2023 T200’s less refined Max Impact system.
-
Tungsten Weighting: Dual tungsten weighting, introduced in the 2023 T200, is retained but optimized for higher launch and forgiveness, with a low bulge in the cavity suggesting low-placed tungsten for better ball flight.
-
Improved Aesthetics: The T250 eliminates the chrome finish of the 2023 T200, adopting a muscle pad design that aligns with the T100/T150, improving visual appeal and set blending.
-
-
T350 (Game Improvement Iron)
-
Premium Construction: Unlike the 2023 T300’s cast cavity-back, the 2023 T350 introduced forged-face, hollow-body construction, and the 2025 T350 builds on this with refined Max Impact Technology, a dual-taper forged face, and dual tungsten weighting for maximum speed and forgiveness.
-
Improved Feel and Forgiveness: The 2025 T350 enhances the 2023 T350’s feel with a more stable chassis and a redesigned back badge, addressing durability issues (e.g., badges popping out) from the 2023 T200/T350. It remains the most forgiving T-Series iron with a wider sole and lower CG for higher launch and distance.
-
Aesthetic Refinement: The 2025 T350 adopts the muscle pad design, aligning it visually with the T100/T150/T250, moving away from the 2023 T350’s less premium-looking badge
-
Performance Gains: The 2025 T350 offers notable distance and forgiveness improvements over the 2023 T350, maintaining its game-improvement focus while feeling more solid and precise.
-
Utility Irons (T250U and U505)
-
T250U Introduction: The T250U is a new utility iron, replacing the 2023 T200 Utility. It features a slimmer profile and more trailing edge relief for better turf interaction, making it easier to blend with T100/T150 compared to the bulkier 2023 T200 Utility.
-
U505 Enhancements: The U505 returns with similar cosmetics to the T-Series, offering a wide sole and tungsten weighting for stability. It’s refined for higher launch and speed compared to the 2023 U505, maintaining its role as a forgiving long-iron alternative.

Notable Continuities and Non-Updates
-
No 620 CB/MB Updates: The 2023 620 CB and MB irons, single-piece forged models, remain unchanged for 2025, as Titleist sees little need for technical advancements in these classic designs.
-
Forged Construction: All T-Series models (T100, T150, T250, T350) retain forged faces or fully forged construction, consistent with the 2023 lineup, ensuring a premium feel.
-
Blended Set Optimization: The 2025 lineup continues to support blended sets (e.g., T100 6-9, T150 5, T250 4), with 80% of Titleist PGA Tour players using multiple models. The consistent design language enhances this flexibility.
