Just For Fun
Tuesday Social Media Roundup from The Masters
It’s tough to get any work done when it’s Masters week. The continuous coverage of range sessions and media interviews on Golf Channel is the perfect fix to get through the work week. Tuesday at Augusta is one of favored days by the pros. Big things usually happen and players put in their final prep before Thursday tee off.
In case you missed anything Masters related today, we’ve got you covered in our Tuesday Master’s Social Media Round-Up. Here’s a few of our favorite moments trending today on social media and at Augusta.
First, who doesn’t love a little comedy. Rory McIlroy impersonation had me on laughing out loud.
Big news out of Augusta today, Phil and Tiger teamed up to play a practice round alongside Fred Couple and Thomas Pieters. Tiger dropped two eagles and looked to be in perfect shape as the foursome played 9 off the back side.
Defending champion Sergio Garcia announced the menu for tonight’s Champions dinner. Not bad, but a lot are saying it’s pretty light. A salad and a soup wouldn’t cut it for me, but heck, I’d eat dirt to be invited to that dinner.
One of the highlights of my morning was watching the Masters App “On the Range” session where the camera basically just shows you guys on the range with a pro-tracer. I can watch Tiger Woods practice hitting a 281 yard draw with his 3-wood all day.
Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson and his caddie Ted Scott had a little fun on Instagram today with a little skit they put together. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
With Tiger dominating the headlines, it’s easy to forget Rory McIlroy is chasing the career grand slam. Not an easy thing to accomplish; with only five total players every doing it.
