Under Armour’s Cold Weather Gear for Golf Has Arrived
Under Armour dropped some new items just in time for the colder weather, and for those who want to extend their golf season and survive in the elements, there are plenty of selections for you.
The collection is full of pieces that are aimed at keeping you warm and dry in the elements. With Fall and Winter quickly approaching and temperatures dropping, it is certainly important to update your wardrobe accordingly.
Fresh off of their Goin’ Under drop, UA has released several new pieces for cold weather, a handful of them have landed in my possession, keeping me warm for the cold months approaching.
Fall golf is my favorite golf. There is nothing better than a brisk day, a cup of coffee, and three of your friends enjoying cheap greens fees and empty courses. Yeah, the aerated greens suck, but it’s still better than sitting inside.
Under Armour has quickly become one of my favorite brands to represent as well. I was never big into their clothing, and I always preferred Nike. However, UA products’ fit, quality, and versatility has quickly changed my perspective, and I find myself in UA more often than most brands.
Here are a few pieces I really like from this new collection:
UA Playoff Long Sleeve Polo – $70
Maybe it’s too warm for a pullover but too cold for short sleeves. Here’s your perfect option.
It’s a great fit, super nice material, and the perfect thickness for a 60-degree day out on the course. A pair of black UA joggers to match, and you have yourself an outfit!
UA Drive Pro Storm Hybrid 1/2 Zip – $100
I actually have this in two colors – black and blue-grey. It’s a great piece for the course and if you want something for dinner.
That’s what I mean by the versatility of Under Armour. It’s really great to have pieces that can be worn in two different settings.
It’s a nice material that will keep you warm on those brisk days. It also looks great!
UA Drive 5 Pocket Pants – $85
I have always had trouble finding pants I really like. Under Armour and UNRL are still the only two companies that have come through with pants that are comfortable, fit well, and give me the look I want.
If you prefer something that is fitted but still spacious, I suggest these two brands. The Drive 5 Pocket Pant is the latest example of how UA makes pants for us folk who have bigger thighs from years of being an athlete. If you have trouble finding pants that fit an athletic build, go for these.
