Vessel Golf: Impeccable Quality with a Charitable Twist

Vessel Golf bags are simply unrivaled.  The materials and overall quality give off an impression that the bag was made specifically for you, just like a custom Savile Row suit.

This level of craftsmanship is exactly why more than 70 PGA and LPGA players, including Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Patrick Reed, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Tommy Fleetwood, and the Solheim Cup and International Crown competitors, put their clubs in Vessel Bags.

Golf bags are one of primary accessories that golfers can express (or announce) themselves with.  Unfortunately, while there are lots of different manufacturers, they largely suffer from the same imperfections: excessive branding, limited color options, and sub-par quality.  In stark contrast, Vessel suffers from none of these defects.

To start, Vessel currently has 5 different options: the Original Staff, Lux Cart, Player Stand, Lite Stand, and Sunday.  As a result, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re the golfer who prefers to always walk and travel lite (then the Lite Stand or Sunday bags) or likes to have more than enough storage space (the Lux Cart).

And regardless of which bag you gravitate towards, each is available in four stock colors—all Black, all White, White/Black, and White/Blue—and made with a level of craftsmanship that is commonly reserved for Tour Players.

Every aspect of a Vessel bag is made with a level of luxury and quality that is unprecedented, whether it’s the materials composing the exterior of the bag, the velour-lined valuables pocket, the magnetic pouch, or YKK zippers.  It’s for this exact reason that premium brands like Miura, PXG, True Spec Golf, and G/FORE use Vessel to build their bags.

As you can tell, Vessel is true to its motto because every bag is Filled With Purpose.

But that’s just the beginning, because if you happen to be in the market for an entirely custom, one-off bag, Vessel can deliver.  Each bag can be customized with different color and texture materials, accent stitching, zippers, and even monogrammed with your name.

While it was already unlikely you’d bump into another golfer with a Vessel bag, this basically guarantees that you’ll never play with someone who has a bag even remotely similar to your’s.

I was fortunate enough to test out Vessel’s Player Stand in White/Black with a 14-way top and was immediately blown away by the quality.  The 14-way top perfectly separates all of your clubs and helps minimize bag chatter, while also making sure that even putters with oversized grips (like my Evnroll ER1.2) have no problem being pulled out for those birdie opportunities.

The 6 exterior pockets, which include a cooler pocket, velour lined valuables pocket, and a large garment pocket, provides plenty of space for everything you’d normally carry: some extra balls and tees, backup gloves, pencils, a ball marker, etc.  And since this is a bag that can be carried, Vessel made sure that the equilibrium backpack-styled strap was super comfortable, with tons of padding, and that the Rotator Stand technology allows the bag to remain very stable, regardless of whether the Player Stand bag is being stood up or tipped with the extendable legs deployed.

But perhaps my favorite two features were the exterior magnetic pocket and the internal valuables pocket.

The magnetic pocket is perfectly located between rubberized handle and ball pocket, and is perfect for storing a rangefinder.  Why?  Because instead of fighting with zippers every time you take out and put away the rangefinder, the magnetic pocket makes sure whatever’s in the pocket stays in the pocket, with the added convenience and accessibility of being a simple open/close flap.

At the same time, the valuables pocket is located on the inside of the main, oversized pocket and is large enough to fit your wallet, car keys, and cell phone, but with the added benefit of being stored in a pocket secured by a two combination lock.

While I never considered it before, I really appreciated having the lockable pocket while I was on the practice range and left my bag attached (and unattended) on the back of a golf cart

And as incredible as Vessel bags are, there’s still something more to them that you won’t find with ANY other bag because, while it’s great to treat yourself, it feels even better to give back.

And with Vessel, you can do both.  That’s because Vessel has a dedicated charitable mission: Buy a Bag, Give a Bag.  For every bag purchased, Vessel gives a school backpack to a child in need.  To date, Vessel has donated nearly 27,000 backpacks, which is commemorated in each Vessel bag with a unique ID number.

So in case it wasn’t already clear, I’m in love with the Vessel Player Stand bag.  The bag has stood up to every test imaginable: walking rounds, push carts, golf carts, travel cases, car trunks, etc.  And yet, the bag still has that same pearl white appearance from when I first opened it up.  None of the zippers have frayed or jammed, and I genuinely don’t anticipate that I’ll ever have an issue with any of the materials or overall build.

In fact, the only thing I might change on my bag is adding a small, velcro patch attached on the ball-marker towel ring so I could keep a golf glove readily accessible while walking.  Otherwise, the Vessel Player Stand is perfect.  It’s been durable, has plenty of storage, looks incredible, and is made with the highest quality materials I’ve ever seen used on a golf bag.

So if you happen to be in the market for a new bag and want to pick up something that’ll exceed your expectations, give you the option to customize every aspect of the bag to your tastes, and “pay it forward” to someone in need, check out Vessel golf bags.  They have something for everyone and you’ll be proud of it every time you tee it up.
